I found that i only like items with a history

I am new to the industry of antique connoisseurs. i have always grabbed old things that my friends were going to through out and now my home and shop are full LOL.I have inherited many absolutely beautiful early 1900's pieces that inspire me to continue loving the character of the old. I am looking forward in learning a lot from all of you,it drives me nuts spending hours on line to research a piece and get nowhere.

I love things with history, they give us a tangible connection to our ancestors and our past. I'm pretty much a newbie as well; I love to research but am still learning what the best sources are.
