Need help for a figurine sign

    These are lovely. The impressed shield mark appears to be the Nymphenburg mark but I am not sure about crown over FC haven't got access to my books just now.

    John, are you sure that's an F and not a T ?? Looks more like TC to ME, BUT I HAVE been known to be wrong!!!!!:happy::happy:

    How nice! I don't know but these are some similar marks from Rontgen's book of Marks on German, Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain. img20200927_112228.jpg

    PS I found this "Prince-Elector of Bavaria Max IV Joseph ordered the closing of the Frankenthal Porcelain Factory in 1800. After that, it was decided that a small portion of models would be carried within Nymphenburg's production. "

    Plus this on another piece "Imprinted Nymphenburg Porcelain mark. Also on the the underside is the Frankenthal mark in underglaze. Both manufacturers merged in the 18th century"

    This could tie in with it having both Nymphenburg and Frankenthal marks.

    Interesting thought, and it kind of does look like a 'J', but don't see a 'J' anywhere in the references........
