Ever wish you didn't have to see someone else's posts?

So, I have a informal protocol question: Is there a ‘too many questions from this guy’ unwritten rule? I mean, how many ‘Anybody know what this basket is?’ questions can I ask? Is there there a point at which it’s, ‘Ah, man, this guy again!!’? I don’t want to be that guy. People I seem to be asking for help are experts, and I’m definitely not (but I wanna be!). PS, no one here has at all made me feel like that, but I have lots of questions and don’t want to overdo it! Thank you— site is amazing!

 

Not really. As long as people are being helpful and answering your questions, you're good.
You seem to be asking nicely and thanking people, so people won't mind helping you.
If you're asking questions and no one is answering, then maybe you need to worry.

I would suggest that you use descriptive titles. Not "Anyone know what this basket is." If you use the same title you won't be able to search for your threads. Some people number their like titled questions. Basket 1, Basket 2 etc.

 

We don't know everything, so some of your questions may stall out, without the answers you need.
That's OK !
We also have some members who ask....'many' questions, but never join in the community...& we help anyways.

If you even wish to not see a members posts....you can set your preferences to Ignore that member....but you have to be careful on a thread...where you may be missing information.....
