Featured Is this glass bowl anything special?

I bought this as part of a shelf lot and don't really know anything about it. I don't think the metal is brass. It has more of a gilt look to it also. No markings except for what looks like IH in black marker.

Any idea what I have? Thanks!

I searched for Boucheron but didn't get anywhere. I've never heard of them.

Thank you for the information. I'm still not certain this is old but you gave me the correct search words and I'm looking now.

But, while searching I came across this. There was one just like it at Thursday's sale but the glass was broken and repaired. It's weird for that to show up in a search.

The metal mount on yours looks lighter weight than those I linked to.
It could be newer.

I think (doesn't mean I know), these were still being made in the late 1950s-70s.
Those cabochons from Anna Kauffman were all the rage at that time.

It's possible the bowl you first asked about is from that same time period late 50s-70s.

 

Yes it was like that one. The bowl glass looked old but the cameo just had a newer look to it.

The bowl I have came from another auction but I 'm thinking it isn't very old. I need to check the metal with a magnet to see if it's brass.
