Identification, please?

Hi, I purchased this at the Bouckville Antique Show, but I cannot remember what it is? I know it’s quite primitive, and very old, and I paid a pretty penny for it – maybe $300 or $400?
Can anyone please help identify it for me, the era it is from, and what it might be worth? Looking to unload it, as well, if anyone is interested.

Its cool but don't think its worth much more than you paid. Thats just me though.

 

It looks like reclaimed metal by some sort of artist with welding skills. Not sure if it old.

 

Looks like the Loch ness monster doesnt it ?

 

Does it have something to do with snowshoes?

Scottish broiler, I don’t think they’re exclusively Scottish but commonly sold as such.
