I found this and could not find much info about old lead statues (could also be zinc, it is a soft heavy metal for sure).

It would be great if anybody knew something about it and I could cancel my mortgage ;)

It is a Diana of Gabii (spelled Gabi in the peana/foot), cast quality is decent, not amazing.

size: a foot to 1/2 meter. Weight: 10 pounds (maybe more)

    Cheers and thanks!

Maybe the previous owner had buried some loot....
It's nice enough.....but looks really clean for a long buried metal item !

Hmmmm, "New Haven," it sounds like some "Yalies" may have been up to no good at some point by burying "her" in a yard/lawn.;)

Thanks for the answers. I did not express myself right, it was not buried. It was part of someone backyard but it seems they decided to discard her, maybe because of the small and poisonous "lead" detail. Still, Diane de Gabi looks cool, would love to know more about it, guess nowadays it is not very common to make lead things like this one...

Might have been part of a birdbath or fountain. Lead was used for outdoor statuary, but this seems too small to have been a stand-alone garden piece.
