Chippendale Dresser...What to do??

    I believe this is a antique Chippendale dresser,that was stripped of its original finish..Then painted & stripped again??..Is it worth re-finishing??.... It is 48 " Tall..What is this type of dresser called?...Any help appreciatrd!     Dunno about anyone else, but I"m not seeing much age on this. 50s maybe? I think it may have been painted to start with, so it qualifies as what I'd call a Mess-with-me. I don't think you can do it much harm no matter what.

    Someone sure to scoff (and, if you do, please be gentle) but I see traces of Mexican colonial in the proportions and design.

    I agree with Debora,and not that old. That being said,its not a bad piece. I could fill the drawers easily. :)
