IMG_2124.JPG IMG_2125.JPG IMG_2126.JPG IMG_2127.JPG IMG_2128.JPG I think the white finish was added later so I'll try to strip it down. I can't tell if this is an old piece or more like a more recent, possibly Mediterranean pottery?

IMG_2176.JPG IMG_2177.JPG The paint is giving me hard time but I'll let it soak a bit more.

Kard, many years ago, someone on the ebay pottery board said to let it soak for several days and the paint will come off without much effort.

IMG_2187.JPG IMG_2188.JPG IMG_2189.JPG IMG_2190.JPG I'm a bit impatient but seems like the more it stay soaked the easier the paint will come off. There are two coats and the lower one looks like being painted but not sure if original or also later.
Any thoughts on the origin of the piece?
