    Hi and WELCOME, Teee!! It took many of us time to figure out how, where, which, etc, in getting our images posted!!!! Not to worry at all!!! We've all been there, done that!!! If still having any trouble getting your images up correctly, here's a little tutorial to hopefully help!! Good luck and enjoy all the fun and learning!!!!! And there are many that can answer about getting your images up FULL SIZED!!! Just ask!!!:):):):)

    except balloon back chairs are round and generally have more carving and these ones aren't

    Certainly a variation on a balloon-back. Also have no qualms with these being English but wonder about the UK posters' certainty. What make you say English vs. Continental? Would like to understand the nuances seen.

    Hi all, yes afantiques is correct they are late Victorian British balloon backs just of a slightly stylised form.

    Except that the style for balloon back chairs is rounded and these have "shoulders" to them. Thoughts on age?
