Matte White Pottery Singing Bird Figurine - Unknown mark

    Would anyone have any idea about this mark? The bird only has a hole in his mouth, no where else. I cannot find the mark anywhere... I think it says FOR TAPIS? TAPIA? thanks!! bird.jpg bird2.jpg

    I'm wondering if it's Tapio Wirkkala. It has that Scandi look.

    Wonder if you put water in it and put it in a pie, if it would whistle.

    Maybe not a pie, but something that would get hot enough to make steam or make the bird whistle.
