Please help to check the value of this painting

This is the oil painting of Julian Falat "At the hunting" with his signature, does anyone know how much could it be priced at. Thank you

 

If in U.S., depends on whether it was looted by the Nazis as his work is being repatriated.

There can only be one original oil painting, anything else would be a copy or a print.

Those are both the same sale at Bonhams, same date. And the Bonham's listing says it was withdrawn.

I know, but is it the same as Asya's? I would like to see the whole painting including the frame because there seems to be a part missing on the side, and what's with the different titles? Which is it: "at the hunting"or "the expectant gathering"?

I don't even need to brighten the lower one...to see the differences..

 

I'm withholding judgment for the moment. Poor versus professional quality lighting, not showing the entire image. But it certainly is odd to see something here with a 4 year old estimate as high as Bonham's gave in 2013. I wonder why it was withdrawn from the sale.

 

Maybe they had to return it to Poland or realized it was a copy.

Wow.....with signature ???

 

Asya's painting could be an older copy or, since it is signed Falat and probably not by Falat, an older fake.

 

This painting was at grandparents possession before the World War II, so probably a copy.. if the original one was in a museum at that time

 

Maybe a copy by a student of Falat, but why the signature?
