    Hi,

Not to sure what this item is made of or what it is. There is no manufacturer or make listed on it. Any help in giving an evaluation is much appreciated.

    All the best.

    Hi,
Not a dinosaur but a big bird, I can not remember which one has two toes.

I would love to know the measurements (probably won't help me identify, but I would like to research whether something like that could be hanging around in my neighborhood).

P.S. Had already typed the above before Hollyblue's answer showed up. Now I don't have to worry about one of them (an ostrich) showing up here. ;) :shame:

I knew someone years ago with ostriches. They really struggled to find a way to make money with them. I don't think they ever tried this though....

That may have been emus though now that I think about it.

Hi thanks for the replies in identifying that it is an ostrich foot. The measurements are: height: 184mm length: 274mm width: 187mm. Does anyone know how much it will go for?

Looks like it is an ash tray missing the brass ash tray part.

I tried ostrich for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Unhappily it had some garlic on it so I was not really able to tell what the ostrich tased like apart from garlic.
I will try to find a butcher with garlic free ostrich.

This one looks to have been made by whoever made yours - and has the brass insert referenced by Holly - went for about 7$ US at auction.

It is not unreasonable to call it a dinosaur foot since the birds are the last survivors of the dinosaur family. And the ostrich is one of the most dinosaurian of the birds.
