Not sure which forum to post this but I hope I can get some info here.
This is all leather, no labels anywhere saying china, only the Chanel made in Paris.
Is this a knock Off ?

    Thanks

I have this issue with 2 purses.
One seems to be a real Gucci.
Not sure on the other brand.
I'll watch this close and probably post those I've found another day. :)

It looks awfully good from here; if someone faked that they put more work into it than the usual fake. I wonder if Chanel would tell you if they ever made one in that style. The did make black bags with the white CC on them, but I couldn't find images similar to this one.

I haven't seen this style before either - but then I am not familiar with every Chanel ever produces. Can you find the hologram tag inside? It could be in a pocket or compartment, and it may have been one of the adhesive tags, not a sewn in tag so its loss is not conclusive. I can't see it clearly enough, but does the font of the impressed "CHANEL PARIS" patch match others on line?

The registered "R" on the logo rings a bell, but I forget whether it is a good bell or a bad bell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People-Thus is an obvious fake-nothing is correct and the tag and font aren't even close. You can always have it professionally authenticated by authenticate4u. Cost is $7.50 and they are located in the U.K. but in this case it's throwing money away in my opinion.

WOW, Thank You all for your replies. I had a feeling it was fake since it was only $1
at my local thrift store. Though I will look inside more carefully to see if I find any clues. Thanks again to KingofThings, Evely, Mansons, Davey and reader..Wishing you all a good happy enjoyable Holiday weekend, be safe....

I belong to purseblog.com and people, including myself, post photos for authentication all of the time. I would start there and I have no doubt that you will receive a quick and credible response.

I certainly hope you're not suggesting that my response wasn't credible. That bag is fake. I agree that tPF is a wonderful resource but their authentications hold no value in an internet claim but will certainly weed out fakes. As a rule, and there are exceptions, their authenticators will not authenticate without an active link to an internet listing and they don't authenticate for sellers as most feel that sellers should pay for a pro and many will recommend A4U.

Lack of emoticons can lead to misunderstandings.
This is why they are available. :)

You are reading too much into my response. I am simply suggesting an alternative that I found quite useful

That's fine and thanks for clarifying although IMO it's a waste of the OP's time in this case and I don't know if they'll comment on it-depends on the authenticator.

Another great professional authenticator for Chanel is Etinceler and they only authenticate Chanel.

Yes, Billy, I'm afraid so. even the font on the word CHANEL is wrong:
