Green Chinese Snuff Bottle Resin or Soapstone

    This bottle stands 3 1/4" tall. No marks although the base has the modern tool mark look. It is a liitle cool when you touch it. Any idea on age?

    Is even the flat bottom only a little cold when you first touch it?

    At first I thought it was kind of nice then I couldn't figure out what the pictures all were or what they represented. Looks kind of creepy to me now.

    Try scratching the bottom of the base with your fingernail.

    It leaves a mark but not a scratch. Probably not soapstone.

    I sold one pretty similar to yours years ago and it was serpentine/soapstone. Which doesn't mean yours is, but I would guess it is.
