Vintage ladies uniform dress

    I was taking a guess, is this a uniform dress ? Does not have any tags on it, though it is very well made. What kind of dress is this, when was it made etc. ?

    Surely looks like it might be a nurse's but.....RED...I doubt it.
    I don't know about that collar but for a stewardess?
    Not impossible that it is simply a woman's fashion.

    The colors and style remind me of a particular chain - I don't know if it's Brigham's or the lunch counter at Woolworth's. That's what it looks like

    There is a a 1950s one that is close but has a wide white collar.
