My father came across this and others at an estate sale. Not sure what the value is but couldn’t find much info online. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hum... Souk at Azrou. Morocco. 1968. Etching. Berber tents. Artist looks like E. Valè. Anything on the back?

I'm laughing. You do see there's a stamp on back? Would you be kind enough to post a close-up photograph?

OMG, yes. I’ll ask my father to send me a better pic of the stamp.

Laughing again.. Well, there's your information about the artist. Would, of course, help if wire wasn't running through it.

From what I can see... E. Valès held a diplôme d'État and he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français. So he was French which, of course, was most likely.

Try Edmond Valès. 1918-200l. Not sure what value is but lots of interest in Morocco these days and done before mass tourism arrived there of a location still not on the beaten track.

Thanks for the info. Sorry about the photo. First time posting today and I thought the orientation of the photo was correct. I’ll do my best to figure out the editing function. Thanks again.

It takes every new member a while to figure out the photograph thing. Not a problem at all. It does get easier.
