Can anyone please provide me with any information on this statue? Dark wood and very heavy (maybe Mahagony, Cherry, or something else). 19 inches tall. Top of the head (from side to side is 5 inches wide). Base (from front to back is 4-1/2 inches) and the base (from side to side is 3-3/4 inches). Thank you for your assistance and knowledge!!

The statutes here say no head, but it's rarely enforced.

A head statue would usually be called a bust, if fully dimensional. I think yours might be more of a wall plaque.

I had this (also made of wood):
Cuban Mahogany Carved Wood Face Plaque A Jorge-a.jpg

    which was made in Cuba

Don't know if yours is related.
