    I've been thrifting for a year now, and I've never had the luck to get any sterling silver....the last 6 weeks i've been on a streak and all of a sudden I have a sterling silver collection! Thanks to Goodwill, the total price for everything in the picture has added up to just over $40 (obviously I didn't find this all in the same place). My two favorites are the vase on the far left which is from the 1890's and the water pitcher on the right is solid sterling from S. Kirk and Son.

    That vase looks interesting, any makers mark on it? Can you post a photo of just the vase?

    Absolutely CXGIRL and thank you! I thought it was beautiful the moment I picked it up. Sadly, the glass has some major cracks underneath, but for me, it doesn't take down the beauty too much. Here are some photos. The hallmarks were at the bottom of the handle, I think that explains why no on saw it before me.

    In the biz they call that a hit. The coasters don't sell for a lot beyond the silver value, but the rest...eep.
