Some of you may remember that bunch of jewellery I posted about a few weeks ago. (Sorry, my cousin's wife decided to keep the moonstone bracelet!) as a "thank you" to me, they gifted me the bead necklace. I must thank you all for the info provided!

Anyway, I thought I'd post better pix of the necklace to pin down any idea of vintage and material. I'm reckoning 1960s, ceramic (although very glossy and cool to touch), has a standard clasp, plastic spacers between beads and is about 24 inches long. Maybe British because my aunt lived there for much of her life.

    Thoughts anyone, with thanks!

Ceramic is right. The spacers are Japanese foil-lined seed beads. They may have been restrung at least once, so beyond that...dunno.

I've similar beads but no clue who made them.

Ah, thank you! The beads are very uniform in size, so I think pressed or moulded. I may wear them, but they kinda clash literally with my eye glasses neck string!:D
