    Hi All
I bought this lovely pendant, however I'm curious of its origin? Is anyone familiar with these hallmarks?
    Thanks :shame: 20200910_175622.jpg 20200910_175611.jpg 20200910_175634.jpg

Yes,I know it is russian, but there is some makers hallmark as well, so is it possible to indicate where and when it was made?

56 is pre-revolution Russian (not USSR) for what we call 14 carat gold. We'll need a way better look at what else is there.

I'm going to piggyback this question since we're calling out the Russian marks brigade. Mark is tiny; sorry photos not better. Can anything be made of what is there in addition to the karatage mark? Which head is that?

Bet those are Bohemian (Jablonec) garnets.

Gorgeous pendant, Magdonna. And as Bakersgma said, a zolotnik mark, pre-millesimal. According to the information I have, this mark was used between 1861 and 1925. The millesimal mark was introduced in1925.
My guesstimate for the pendant is ca 1910-1920. Maybe the others have another idea?
Although Russia has its own beautiful garnets, they could be Bohemian. The bead setting is reminiscent of Bohemian, but this specific type of filigree rim is very Russian.

I think we're looking at something like this but with a different cartouche:

Thank you Any Jewelry  It is really nicely done. Is the first hallmark a makers mark or a city mark perhaps?

It could be an assayer's mark. Pity the detail is gone, but the most important part is the front, which looks perfect. And very nicely made, as you said.:)
