Featured Chinese Teracotta Figures

    Does anybody know anything about these 2?

    I picked them up at an auction with some early 20thC african wood carvings, i'm guessing these are just vintage Chinese souvenirs but thought I would share with you guys just in case they are something else.

    Yes, charming Chinese souvenirs, based on Tang dynasty terracotta figures.

    These definitely look newer. However don’t the Chinese have a tendency to make modern well fitting, padded, and decorative boxes for truly antique and ancient items as well?
