Small Chinese Bowl ?

Looking some help with this small chinese bowl I liked the look off its signed on the bottom but have no idea about chinese porcelain any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I can't help with your question but . . . I really like the coloration and design on the plate. It "almost" looks like the upper flower is floating just under the surface of clear blue-ish water and the lower flower is floating on top of the water.

Very pretty in my estimation.

All I know it that it is Japanese.

 

I was sort of thinking Japanese, too, based on the colors. I have a set of small plates (packed away right now, I'm afraid) that I bought in Japan, in 1980. They have the same coloration as this bowl (tho a different pattern.) I know that they were brand new when I bought them. I've always considered them sort of like "water colors", if that makes any sense.
