Purpose of holes on cabinet

    I was thinking maybe someone added the holes to the piece at some point to convert it into pie storage. Maybe they didn't care about the screens. Just a guess.

    They do seem kind of big for keeping pies cool.

    They are likely original to the piece and missing screen covers. They are for air circulation / food storage. Note that the front doors are pierced as well.

    Hey, I sort of got something right.

    Just curious as to how the screens attached. Are there probably screw/nail holes on the inside?

    I did, just haven't had time to post. Looks like your correct. And I may have to put screens back in there to keep my cats out. They think I bought this for them to hide in.
