How do I get this antiquers daily ad pop up to go away??

I have this ad for Antiquers Daily pop up when I try to log in. It will not go away!!!

 

The black box that asks if you want daily alerts? I just saw it tonight when I came back. I never log out I just exit yet it appeared. I just hit the X and POOF.

when I entered my email it said I already get them.

 

I don't have an X to hit. I'm on my phone and I don't see it.

 

You might want to post this to the "Support and Testing" board that is at the top of the list. Although Peter might look in here, also, I'm guessing that he might not keep up with all of the threads. It would be annoying not to be able to get rid of it.

Yes, me too same problem. When I'm on my iPad I can hit the x to get rid of it. But when I'm on my phone there is no x to click, and it takes up the whole screen.

 

Teeny tiny place at bottom right says "Dismiss Notification." I just clicked there and it went away. Not sure if that is permanent.

 

Does this mean we all need to send vodka to help with the problem? LOL

 

Not necessarily. If you take enough of the vodka at home, that will also make the problem go away.

 

It came up when I logged on, the X wasn't there until I moused over the top right hand corner of the black box. When it appeared I hit it and the box went away!

The problem is fixed on my side, no more box. It just went away all of a sudden. That was weird. Thanks though for helping.

 

Maybe Peter has fixed it...

 

I was able to block it using the AdblockPlus browser add-on. (I'm using FireFox).

I added the following filter rule to my ABP preferences:

antiquers.com###GritterContainer

Unfortunately, I don't know if that will work for any other add-ons, including regular Adblock or the Chrome or IE versions for either add-on. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try - you can always delete the custom rule if it doesn't work for you.

It was popping up on mine until I stopped logging in and then as Bakersgma said on the lower right hand corner clicked on dismiss and has been gone for two days now.
