Rococo wall sconces

    Today I got these pretty wall sconces for 3€ LOL.
    Carved wood, there is old green-gray paint underneath. Sadly someone went all crazy with gold spray paint, but I'll get them regilded once I have more time. Light wood, very fragile.
    I believe 1890-1920? Any ideas?

    WDIK, but they remind me of some wall sconces my MIL has that are from a department store circa 1950s-60s.

    They are rather crudely carved so Id guess from Italy or the like. I dont think terribly old either ,but thats just my opinion.

    IMO not worth the cost and labour of gilding as quality is lacking.
