Renoi Sculpture

    This is another piece from that house.
    ...just buried underneath stuff on the floor.

    It was quite a chore lifting it off the floor and across two rooms, its very heavy!
    Very heavy.

    The statue is metal and the base is marble.
    Unofficially it's maybe about 2' long at the base.

    I didn't notice in person due to being in a rush, but in the pictures it looks as though a metal color is poking through the green.

    Could it be a painted bronze?
    Faux bronze?

    I believe that the grandson recast some of the renoir sculptures in the 70's. No foundry mark? Not sure about the paint

    I did not look for a foundry mark.
    Will it be on the underside of the actual statue?
