The workmanship on this piece intrigues me. Tiny little beads and pieces of polished stone or glass wired into small rings. Can any of you tell me anything about the age and technique? If it is from a 10 cent store that is OK . DSC01470.JPG DSC01471.JPG DSC01474.JPG

My first thought is relatively new, could be from the 1980's on up. A little more detailed and interesting than some newer pieces you see.

Perhaps someone will recognize the maker's tag. :)

Lobster claw means newish, later than 1970s, but this looks later than that. Does that say 5X?

Certainly new. The kind of thing one sees at stores -- WORLD MARKET, etc.

It's what I call brand stinking new - some time in the last decade. The "stones" are probably glass or random dyed rock.

Thanks to all of you ! Yes it says 5X and I thought it was newer and glass but how much effort does it take to wire those tiny beads, can it be done by machine?

    The Etsy ad claims it's a 60s necklace. 90s I'd believe, but not 60s.

Matches that Etsy tag exactly. One thing I might note, although the date is somewhat in question, that Etsy piece is a little bit nicer than average with hand knotting between the beads, etc. Sort of argues that the piece in the post might have a bit more work than some you see nowadays.
