I thought some of you would enjoy some pictures of the inside of what were digging through.

I was researching the woman who previously owned the stuff. She was a high end antique dealer who had a popular shop in Atlanta.
Everything in this house are items that don't seem to sell particularly well out there. Both her and her husband were dealers, she's a 3rd generation dealer so I imagine some of these items are inherited.
We picked up 40 items to put I our next online auction. Going though some of the items we are coming across a few reproductions, which isnt uncommon in this trade, people still want the antique look without the price..

My boss wants us to have 600 lots sorted, cleaned, photographed, titled, described, estimated, and online for a live/ online auction by September 9th.
    ...the kicker?
He's been on vacation all week, we are still lotting for a live/online auction for the 25th of this month and are still holding 2 weekly auctions in the mean time :dead:
It doesnt help I live an hour away, everyone else is 1.5hrs and the owner (who works a regular day job) wants to be there whenever we are. :wacky:
I think my boss is extremely insane. :woot: :cyclops:
So if anyone has a magic wand I can borrow..

    Anyways,
This is half of ONE room.

    90% off drawers are full.
    Trunks, boxes, cabinets.
I live for this, but I don't want to rush it and mess up/overlook something because we are in a mad dash.
We have to have everything out by the end of September and he's promised him 2 live/online auctions during this time :wideyed:

Uhh, well I'm a furniture, primative, antique sign, and horse kinda gal..

While there are a ton of nice things there that I wouldn't mind having, nothing has yet jumped at me and said, empty your pockets for me! :hilarious:
I guess deep down I know some of this stuff is going to go well out of my price range I've sort of "checked out" in that department.

I do like that convexed Federal mirror in the office room, but I haven't been able to get close enough ro tell what it really is.
There are some wooden and some brass eagles off, I believe, ships I've seen that I like, but again probably going to go out of my price range.
There is also two large framed steeplechasing engravings. I havent yet been able to pull them out and look over them..

I think my heart will start singing when we get in the out buildings :nailbiting::joyful:
