Turquoise?

    Hi,
    This is sewn into a leather cover - would this be turquoise? it is 1 1/2"L.
    any information appreciated

    Some kind of lower grade turquoise? This rock seems to have all your stones imperfections in it!

    The light line between 2 and 3 o'clock doesn't look natural.

    Try chrysocolla. It's a blue/green mix like the stone in the photo.

    I think chrysocolla.
    It comes in a colour range from a pale blue or turquoise colour to very dark blue or blue-green. It occasionally has that blotchy look:
