Black fur coat with curly lambs wool

We always called that curly fur Astrakhan.

 

only difference between Astrakhan and Persian Lamb is when the fleece is harvested. The best Astrakhan is harvested from fetal sheep, Persian lamb is sheared from a young sheep.

 

And the persian lamb cuffs are stitched to one side of sleeve only? That wouldn't indicate quality.

Billy, is there any chance you could take the coat outside and take a few shots in daylight? Maybe what it's made of would be more obvious in different lighting (?)
