    I couldn't find anything by this person. Is this made on a lathe? I inherited this about 12 years ago. The person who owned it had it for many years before that but I don't know the age. Any idea? Thank you.

    Someone got screamingly lucky and got a piece of plum tree root. They made a bracelet out of it. It probably came from a craft fair, in the 1980s or later. Beyond that...dunno, but if it were mine I'd have it stuffed into my hoard rather than the sell pile!
