    Hello.....

This is my first post. I found this little dish in a second hand store and just loved it. However, I can't find anything like it online and I am not real knowledgeable as to how to search for things, so I would appreciate advice as well as identification of this piece.

    Thank you so much!

Wow, you found that so fast! I've been searching for hours! Hopefully this will help me narrow this piece down, thank you! Crystal

It really helps to have measurements in your post. Whenever I see dimples like that on the rim I think ashtray .

It is 6" from handle long x 5.5" wide x 1.75" deep. The dimples aren't inset for a cigarette to rest on. I think they are decorative. I have been looking under FT Italy and I'm just not finding anything about this artist. Any help about artist or where to search for free would be greatly appreciated. It might help me narrow down this piece. Also, I am wondering if the hand painted building is real or not. That might help me too.

This is from Walter Del Pellegrino's book of Italian Pottery Marks From Cantagalli to Fornasetti. The information is for Fratelli Fanciullacci and I think it's possible it could be your mark.
