Does anyone know the symbol on the mantle of this fireplace from St Petersburg, Russia? Is it perhaps Masonic? Thanks

Welcome James. I am not seeing a Masonic symbol. Could you post a photo of the symbol, and please click on 'full image' when you post?

If I say it is just decorative, someone will want to prove me wrong.

    Looks decorative to me;):shame:

    Very lovely fireplace.
    Welcome to the board.

  7. Could be a Masonic pyramid. On the other hand, sometimes a triangle is just a triangle!
