Czech Pottery

    Long time collector of Czechoslovakian pottery and some glass. Author of the book on Czech birds with the red dime mark and currenting researching Mrazek pottery for a future. I would welcome pictures of rare pieces. I will be happy to answer questions.

    Hi Fishiowa, and WELCOME!! You should LOVE it here!!! We also have a lot of fun while exchanging and dissecting information!!!! When posting pictures, 1MB is the size limit, 10 images per post, and when you upload the files, the very TOP IMAGE lets you click to "post every image FULL SIZE"....MUST DO!!!!! You also will find, most of the 'experts' here would like close ups, several angles, dimensions, and any other information you can provide about the object in question.....that should get you off to a great start!!!

    Hi, Fishiowa, and welcome!

    I have a number of pieces of Mrazek, but I'm SURE they're not rare! They're mostly blue background, open floral pattern: a vase [my original piece,] cups & saucers, small plates, and a small covered jar... Nothing special, as far as I can tell. I just like the cheery colors!
