No, the tenterhooks job is on hold, the family are taking it a little slower as some of the furniture other members of the clan might want.
    They still have my number.
This was a one day job in the next village.
I have another tomorrow and then a break until Monday.:D

    Wow lucky you.

What are the other lucky finds you get in these clearances.
Any luck with old wines and whiskey?

    Usually cash.
Whisky I drink, the wines are never fine wine and not drinkable as a rule.

    Same thing here!
Never found a bottle of wine in a house clearing that tasted good!
Selling them and buy beer for, is what I do.

Online find. It was a bit pricey but I think I can make a good profit on it:

It's a fabulous piece, even if it didn't have the saphirets, but with them - WOOHOO!

I have a rolling ad in the local rag.

Wanted : Coins, Banknotes, War Medals & related items.

I get at least a couple of calls every week.
Late this evening I was going home and got a call to see some coins and medals in a dodgy area..

An area I used to work in many years ago.

I bought these from a guy who had been left them by his deceased neighbour.

Run of the mill WWII medals but with a silver Palestine medal with bars for Minesweeping, quite scarce.

A silver Boatswain's whistle and chain and a silver general service medal.

    A few silver coins.

I stayed chatting for an hour.

When I left it was dark, I walked to my car and became aware of some local scum on bikes waiting to pounce.

I said "Move away, Covid box"

They moved like the wind, geeze if they had brains they would be dangerous :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Just what is a Covid Box ?:D
