Hmmm. Never know when a road trip could come on.
Girl of the Limberlost, Nancy Drew, and The Mary Tyler Moore show were formative for my life.
The Swamp and Minneapolis. Sounds good.

I always wanted to move to Minneapolis and live on Mary's street...... he he he!

  3. I can relate to that! Although I didn't watch much of the Mary Tyler Moore show. I did watch a lot of others, though! Gidget, The Flying Nun, Little House on the Prairie, I Dream of Jeannie...

Amanda, does your desire to visit Chincoteague have anything to do with Misty et al? I absolutely LOVED Marguerite Henry's books when I was a child, and my now-adult daughter counted them among her favorites, too.

I've been to Chincoteague (and Assateague) many, many times over the years, and I think they're just as enchanting as you hope they'll be!
