Bob Ross?

My husband and I were cleaning out the estate and noticed this painting on a wall in the basement. Sorry the pictures aren't that great. The one picture is a comparison of an autograph I found online and the one on the painting. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but these do look like happy trees. Any thoughts?

 

My thoughts would be wait until daylight when you can get some better light, and more careful, IN focus pictures, without Flash! And yes, if there's anything on the back, please photo/s of that too!! Thanks!!!

I am not sure it's up to the standard of the ross landscapes that sold on here.. it probably is after ross or in the style of him imho.. but I am no expert

I'm no pro in judging either, but if it IS a Bob Ross, looks like it "could" be a VERY early one.......NOT a ton of detail in it..... looks like there's a small date after that 'ROSS' signature, but can't quite make it out.....94 or maybe 84????

From watching Bob Ross a lot. Looking at the mountains in the OP post and bob ross style of mountains the OP lacks a lot of detail. Bob ross mountains had more detail in them and don't really re call of him doing deer or animals in his paintings. Its probably someone with the same last name

 

Thanks everyone. That was kinda what I was thinking. It looks too rough to be his, but it looks too old to be a knock off. It definitely looks like his style but I also didn't remember him painting animals.
