    Hi Mare! Welcome!

I would call it Italian/French Provincial. My guess would be 1940's or so.

But, those in the know just haven't arrived here yet.......you will get better information when they do.

I think more 20s-30s in a pseudo-French style. People like these if they are in immaculate condition but not terribly valuable. Here in semi-rural Midwest, you might see these at $450.00 for the 3 piece set (give or take) at retail. You might do better or worse in other locales. At a local auction they would bring next to nothing. Condition looks reasonably good on your set and the upholstery is something a lot of people could live with. Both plusses. No one wants to upholster any more due to expense, so things needing upholstery have virtually no value.

In France they call this Louis Quinze style, after king Louis XV.
It is the name of the style, but made in the first half of the 20th century, probably in the US.

It wasn't from US because I am from Croatia (Europe). My mother says that she got it from Italy.

It could be Italian. Probably not French. That very thickly cushioned upholstery on the chair is rarely seen in France, but people in Italy, the US and parts of Asia prefer it that way.

Also, you need to take more photos. Closeups of the woodwork, especially joints. And any hardware on it.

You can pretty much disregard everything I said about appeal, values, and upholstery in general. I know nothing about the market in Croatia. I do know that if this Italian, it could be later than I suggested.

I will take more photos when I come back from Austria so you can maybe know more about it. I was thinking that I should get rid of my new sofa because I could then have place for this one, but if this one isn't that valuable, it could be mistake. I don't know.
And about Croatian market, I saw sthing similar to this one for 10 000 kuna (1 USD is about 6 kunas), but now it seems to me that it is overrated.

What you will find on the internet is that there are always dealers selling nice quality pieces in great condition for above market prices. They are fishing for that person for which money is not necessarily an object. They also cultivate a clientele based on their presence and reputation. Who knows how long it takes for them to find a buyer and what the ultimate selling price is. When you as a non-dealer without reputation or clientele is selling something, you have to set your sights quite a bit lower.

I have no intention to sell it. Maybe to reupholster and keep. But the only question is is it worth keepeng (except emotional value due to the fact that my mom gave it to me). Just trying to be reasonable.

It is worth keeping if in good structural condition (or repairable). Probably better quality than anything new you could find in a moderate price range.
