Delft Blue plate with odd mark.

    I know it's probably not that old but the mark on the back caught my eye, And for .25 cents i just kept it. 5" wall plate that i can't even find this mark so i am thinking maybe a fake of some sort?

  2. For the price it looks great but Royal Delft marks don't look like that. Every piece i have ever seen has the factory mark, an item number, the artist's initials and a date code. The Royal Delft factory still exists so you could send them the mark and ask them.

    Thanks. I know their marks because I have sold a few in the past. Just thought someone might have seen this mark before.

    It might be American; some US companies swiped fancier names.
