Gouache ? Watercolor ?

I was able to thrift for the first time in weeks and I swear it was like getting a fix ! I found this picture,and of course cant make heads nor tales of the siggie ! Im hoping someone may recognize the picture itself. its on some weird kind of paper (thought it was silk initially) and its very brittle. Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

 

I can't make anything of the sig, either. You might already know that the title on the left is TRIO.

 

Looks like a linoleum or wood block print.

Agree with 6rivets, it's a hand-pulled print from wood block cut or linoleum cut.

Is the paper hand-made? Hand-made paper always looks "odd" to me!

Could be a tourist souvie from some boat cruise to somewhere...!

 

I think it is handmade,its really weird. And brittle. I realized its very acid burned as well,it only really is visible when its got light on it. I think I kinda hate it now !

It looks like acrylic or tempera to me. Tempera will come off on your damp finger, acrylic won't. You can test it on a tiny, unnoticeable area with your finger tip.
