    Usually when you see the 925, it was made in another country.
    Because it is marked Sterling 925, I'm guessing it was made to import to the US.

    I could be way off base. Wait for the silver gurus to show up.

    To me that looks like 1950s wedding gift silver. The maker may not matter.
