Featured Artists signature and art style help

    Hello,
    I am hoping someone can say who this artist is and the period or style of the picture.
    The artist added pencil sketches to the picture (examples are the lamp on the wall and chair legs) the only words on it are "Le Restaurante" and the penciled artist's signature. I did try googling variations of the name - guessing at the letters.

    Thanks afantiques. I wondered if this is Art Deco, or Surrealism or? It is professionally framed and I sure hate to tear it apart to see more of it.

    Neither Art Deco nor Surrealist. To my eye, appears contemporary. 1990s perhaps. Photo of frame would provide clue.

    Modernist with a touch of surrealism I would say. Have seen similar works, whether by this artist or others, I don't know. Agree that it is fairly modern. Have been trying to make something of the signature to no avail.

    Framed size is 27 wide by 34 and the picture size is 17.5 wide by 24 1/2.
