    hi guys

anyone have a idea where this might have come from ?

didnt realise it was on glass untill i took the back off to have a gander

its on really thick bevelled glass

not really finding anything similair, unsure of age

glass measures 17 inches by 13 inches

was happy to pay a fiver just for the frame

    any thoughts appreciated

I too like the frame, but sorry, Charlie, that's about all I can add! Does it ACTUALLY look like it might be about ready to start "flaking" off the glass as it appears in your photos it might be ready to???

Hi aqui, no it's pretty solid paint, only looks like that in harsh light

That looks like an olde tyme-y decorative item (with damage) from the 1970s when painted mirrors were all the rage.

Its a picture of an AEC K type British made 1920 bus.

    Associated Equipment Company(AEC)

    London General Omnibus Company.

The item is from the early to mid 70's

Home decor, I'd think. During that period, lots of wine & spirits and beer companies produced their own branded mirrors as retail incentives.
