Pattern name for an uncommon common J&G Meakin plate?

Trying to pin down the pattern and date for this plate and keep striking out.
The replacement mob reference is MEK417 and they don't list a name or date.
It's a little odd as above the “SOL” is “BY” which is in the spot the pattern name usually resides. Might be missing some letter like “RU” for “RUBY” but I don't think so.

    Any ideas?

If you can make out the number here is how to find the date the pattern was registered. If would have been made sometime after that.

I think 1902 from what I can make out.

Yep. That's about as far as I've got too. Normally if you can tie down the pattern there is usually a date range associated as well but I haven't been able top do that.

Now that's interesting. It seems to suggest that plates with a plain center and ornate outside ring came under the same name and number. Failing that maybe "BY" referred to a sample run to see if the public liked it the pattern enough. If not then discontinue it.

    Maybe BY are designer initials?

Yes, but that is the only mention I saw anywhere. Nice one, SIS.

SIS You've done it again. I found that site and went looking for yellow and red not burgundy and gold. Of course I missed it. Thanks for that. Another mystery solved.
