Painting without signature or mark?

I have been trying to research this painting (bought it with the Marco Murolo painting-in my other post), but I cannot find any marks or signature. I thought someone else might have some ideas. It seems like a nice painting and I plan on hanging it in my house. I appreciate any assistance. I also put a little painting (one I really like) and have had for several years and have had little luck finding any info. I believe the artist is "Ansel", but after that I am stuck... Thank you and I hope you enjoy looking at the paintings.

The first one looks like it could have been painted in my part of the world, the south of The Netherlands, possibly just over the Belgian border.
We als also have a lot of birch trees, poor soil.
This is in the hamlet of Leenderstrijp, just a few k from me:

The roofs used to be thatched all the way, but after too many village fires that was prohibited. By using tiles for the lower part, the fire couldn't spread from one thatched roof to another. Outside the villages there are still old farmhouses with completely thatched roofs.
The green shutters mean the farm is not the property of a castle or a big estate. We like our independence.;)
Leenderstrijp is in the southeast of the red part, which is the province of Noord Brabant:

Of course, I thought of Belgium as soon as I saw it. You still see a lot of those double chimney pipes in the countryside. :)

Yes, the chimney in Leenderstrijp would have had those chimney pots as well. I remember them from my childhood, but they aren't allowed anymore, another safety issue. The current chimney is clearly a modern safety one, but must have been approved by the 'Monumentencommissie', since Leenderstrijp is a heritage site.

Thank you for all of the information. It is very interesting and I think that you are probably right about the location. Is it common for paintings like this to be unmarked or signed?

No, it isn't. Maybe there is a signature hidden under the frame?
I keep thinking I know this painter, I'll do some digging, but can't promise anything.
