    On that note, I am reminded that I have started, but not yet finished, a reminiscence of life in my grandparents house in the 1940s...............21 people in 50 rooms, with bedrooms to spare................

    Hi,
    That was the way it was with my Grandmother who died in 2000 being 113 years old. She went from whale oil lamps to Astronauts and computers. I gave her the first airplane trip when she was 99. Went from Pittsburgh Pa to Florida. I asked how she liked it, she said fine except her arms ached a bit. I asked why and she told me that since she was a little plump she kept raising herself up on the arm rests so her weight would not cause the plane to be too heavy.:rolleyes:
