Id have walked away ! I see that more and more and I think " Do that BEFORE you offer them for sale" ! A store opened up last year that buys estates and I kid you not, they actually print out what stuff sold for on ebay, even if it was ten years ago, and tape it to the items ! I actually asked the lady why she thought a price from ebay 5 years ago was relevant in todays economy and she just blank stared me !
    I never went back.

Are those "little charms" portraying boxing and wrestling by any chance?

I'm curious about the "Douglas Farm" book from 1865. What type of book is it?

    I like the blue/green vase.

Mymysharonna, by any chance is the book about horses/horseback riding? If not, does it have to do with "faults" in other animals or humans?

Mymysharona, I think you may have found a little gem in your book.

Here are some links to other books (for children) which the author (Mary E. Bradley) wrote.

Bradley (M. E.) Douglas Farm; a juvenile story of Life in Virginia. By Mary E. Bradley. New York. 1857 (a different entry on-line shows the book as Douglass (with 2 s's) Farm).
