Anyone ever heard of this clock maker?

so I'm looking for some info on this wall clock I'm having trouble hanging the pendulum and have never seen this way of mounting it so I figured I would ask here for a possible name of the maker so I can continue my research. Any help would be appreciated!

No German is called Pierre.

However, the box ist typicalto the end of the 19th century.
If you could take off the clock mechanism you would probably find a serial number and the producer stamped on the back. Once you know that you can date it to the year it was made

 

It would be helpful if you could post more pictures, perhaps so that we can see the whole clock and not just parts of it

 

Not many marks short of just these numbers pictured but I was able to figure out how to hang the pendulum in the process of looking for marks

 

A German clock retailed in France ...DUH!
They were sold in the UK too BTW.

 

Pierre is NOT the first name, but Eugène - shortened to Eug., probably the watchdealer.
Dinant is in the francophone part of Belgium, therefore Retard and Avance marked on the pendulum to slow it or "fast" it with the round nut.
PS: Pierre is rather often used in Germany, especially along the Rhine; nobody wants to be called Peter or Fritz or Johannes or even Torben, Detlev or Horst - it simply sounds so "yokel".

 

These are commonly termed Vienna Wall Clocks mostly 19thC whether weight or spring-pendulum driven originating in Vienna and copied in several countries across central northern Europe. Weight drive correctly called a Regulator.

It is a French clockmaker, Eugene Pierre from the Town of Dinant. Apparently, in the Ardennes, near Belgium.
