Well, I'm not so sure. I've had it multiple times that it was 1 bid from selling and it didn't reach it. Or very low end bids, like 200/300 short.

Therefore I try to reach more people for that one last bid

Exactly. And I also sold something on Catawiki 1,5 weeks ago. But the buyer has not paid

 

You're not having much luck on Catawiki at the moment.
I bid on Catawiki, mostly wrongly described jewellery. I always pay promptly anyway, but thought you had to pay within three days.
Do you sell anywhere else?

 

No not really lucky . That's kind of smart what you're doing. I wish I had the knowledge to do so. If I buy something I always pay right away, but maybe that's just because I want to receive it as fast a possible

Buyer indeed has 3 days to pay. But this is the 2nd time somebody hasn't paid.
But I remember creating an account before, I could just place bids....
Except for bids over €1000,- , that required an ID-card upload.

So I verified my account. But most likely my "buyers" haven't.
I believe they just use a fake name or something.

But they mess up my auction really, because I have to wait like 6 weeks
when they start a debt collection. So these 6-8 weeks I'm not allowed to put it up for auction (at Catawiki). Of course if I have the opportunity to sell it somewhere else, I will.

Somewhere else, in my case, is Etsy/eBay.
Although my sales overall are very very very low.
