    Hi Joe,
Your iridescent piggy banks probably made by Jeanette Glass in the early 1950s. I have them in four sizes they usually had a J in a square on the bottom.

As I was standing in line a lady in front of me had a buggy full, and I noticed two large silver looking bowls so I asked her if I could look at them. Sure enough ,800 silver with some marks I didnt recognize, probably Italian . I was BITTER ! I had to tell her though they were real silver, she was thrilled. They were $5 each !

I missed you guys. The thunderstorms here blew out electricity on and off and therefore turned my power strip off. Then lightning hit my computer. It's a really long story involving online appointments with Best Buy and the Geek Squad, but I am back. The old column computer was 8 plus years old, went with an HP Envy x360 laptop. Then my Samsung 7 wouldn't hold a charge anymore, so I ended up with an new phone (Best Buy had a sale, $150 off a Samsung again, can't remember the model, Galaxy A 71 5g UW, I think). Darn phone is so new I can't get the glass screen protector until August 24. Phone practically in bubble wrap until then because with my arthritis it will be dropped.

I don’t usually hit $avers on Monday’s, there’s no production crew Sunday’s and Monday’s. Stopped in because I had to be in the neighborhood and found this Alfredo Sciarrotta sterling tobacco leaf dish for $2.99+.

    More hoard stuff.....

Nice Murano necklace. Modern, but I love it. My first charity shop buy since MARCH. 6.99

A Victorian silver souvenir brooch, which the clever fellow dealer thought was junk. So it was 1.50.

And a closoinne bangle which may be older. 50 pence.

    I can't decide about the jade bangle. C67C (2).jpg C69A (2).jpg C81C.jpg C69C.jpg C67B (2).jpg C67A (2).jpg C69B.jpg C78C.jpg C81A.jpg C81B.jpg C78B.jpg

Loving the Murano glass bracelet- beautiful fall colors.

Trying out the new tech. Red quartz and Venetian glass necklace, sterling clasp. I will post this on the jewelry board to see if we can ID the maker.

And just like Anund doesn't usually go to Savers on Mondays, I had errands by this thrift on a Saturday. The store was already open almost three hours. Cute little silver brooch, I saw writing on it, took a chance it was sterling for $3. When I louped it in the car, I almost fell over.
